Improved Housing Outcomes!

The numbers are in for Safe Shelter’s second year of operation!

Between November 2024 and October 2025, 76% of Safe Shelter’s guests have been housed. This statistic is up from our first year’s rate of 70% — a testament to Safe Shelter’s commitment to continual improvement. For context, the HUD national standard is 30%.

We are incredibly proud of all of our staff, and we are deeply grateful for the continued support from community members, volunteers, and donors. Your support enables us to continue serving our guests to our greatest potential.

1) In the past three weeks, twelve of our guests (three individuals and three families) have moved into permanent housing! This is more than half of our shelter’s capacity.
